Dinner party!

This Sunday I threw a dinner party for my friend Zach's birthday. We have been making alot of home improvements and I was really excited to host a little something before summer ended. Whaaaaa nooooo summer stay. Also Z is one of my dearest friends, so I made sure to have all the important party necessities like : pin the tail on the donkey, cake in a cone, balloons! (it is very important to hire a 5 year old to draw on them ahead of time so they are not "plain"), hot tubbing, star shaped glasses,nautical sweaters, boat rides, lots of rad babes and dudes, party hats sporting the word fuck, and smiles! Dream Boat had a coupon to a comic book store so we stopped in this week. Picked up Ghost World. How have I never read this? The movie blew my mind when it came out 5 million years ago. I was at the same age and very similar in attitude. My 24 year old male friend that went to see the movie with me, left in tears. He wanted to marry Enid. AWWWWWWWWWWW I love Scarlet J before she got all hollywood and started wearing those gross toe running shoes and dating Sean Penn.

I have this guy in white and its so comfy. "Always say so nice, buy it twice!" You can never have to many sweaters featuring cute animals! MIja Weekend

My Mija came to visit last week. We filled the days with beach time, and many parties. One of these parties involved jumping in a kiddie pool. I think every home needs one. We ended one night at the Slide Luck Pot Show event. It was great. I would suggest it to anyone. They are held all over the world! HERE some of these are really blurry, it is a testament to how much fun was had

Bagels!

So, Im so excited my favorite bagel place is opening a location pretty close to where I live! My quality of life has just gone up 2 levels! It is called Eltana. HERE They have Montreal style bagels. think crunchy outside, with a chewy middle, and seeds on all sides! I love them so much I took a picture of mine the other day so I could look at it and think of the happy times I had with it while I was eating it.

Big changes

are happening here. YIKES So since my last post I..... -quit my job -started playing in a band -started fixing up our back room -started taking Zumba and......... I am soooo tired and excited more on all these things later

Wedding Style

I like to keep it pretty simple for summer weddings. Its just to dang hot! For the wedding in BC I wore GETIT and these GETIT The only weird thing about these shoes is when the sun hits they reflex little shadows on whatever is around you.
