Maps

I am in absolute awe of this artist/esty shop owner

She hand cuts these delicate maps snip by snip. Can you just imagine her patience? What a original idea!
Some like this big one of Madrid are around a thousand dollars while smaller ones and prints are much more affordable. They even have one of Seattle!

I just love how clean they look.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I was lazy and did not dress up this year.
So here is a picture of everyones favorite berry as a butterfly!

honeymoon countdown!

in 7 days! Oh my goodness I am all of a sudden about to explode! I made a few reservations today for little trips etc. One of which is a surprise! Can I keep it? Probably not
Here is a photo of one of my favorite meals. Room service in Madrid! We were soooo jet lagged and everything was closed. I had just showered and was so pleased to enjoy this simple over priced sammich and chips while wearing a fluffy white robe and slippers

Baby Love!

I am so lucky to have 2 nieces that share 1 birthday!!! Aurora will be 2 and Lily will be 1!!!!!!!! Makes it easy enough to remember. Here is a little view of what I got the sweet baby beauties! I was going for classic and modern keepsakes!

The peter rabbit set is extra special to me as my gramma bought me one when I was a little girl

Clueless

Sad but when I look back on movies,( with the exception of Breakfast at Tiffianys) and think about how they shook up my view on fashion. The first one that comes to mind is CLUELESS. I was a pudgy 13 year old girl, and you bet your ass I wore a plaid skirt the first day of junior high. I was obsessed with knee highs and mary janes all through my late teens and early 20'sI still feel like I follow some of there fashion trends
-little sweaters
- tights or knee highs
-peeked out collars and cuffs
-layered button downs and V necks
- mary janes
-loafers
-headbands
-argyle!

sad my favorite outfit is the smallest pic
the little grey skirt with the silver sweater and tuxedo blouse!

through in a cute pic of the berry!

Snuggle me

In love with this etsy shop! Celapiu
Wouldn't you love to sport any of these cowls, shrugs, or neck warmers?
I love how the chunky knits manage to look delicate and thick at the same time.

A tale of two coats

Every time I fall in love with a jacket, it is always missing one essential piece. A HOOD! You can not survive without one in this rain city. 2 years ago I nailed down buying something waterproof. Which is pretty much obsolete in this town, just like umbrellas. Water creeps. This is why you need a HOOD! Now I find myself "in love" and "in like" with 2 coats. This purchase will be validated as my old coat is falling apart at the seams (MJ not known for quality)

A coat is like a friend, do you go with like or love?????????

PS.If you loved me you would buy me one.......

PSS. Both coats are from asos, if you don't know about this site you are missing out. I guess I will share my secrets, that is what blogs and love are all about

What did Mama always tell you?

always wash your face and brush your teeth before bed and.... always

MOISTURIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here are my favorite creams, moisturizers, and potions for every inch of your beautiful body

and don't forget those elbows honey!

Fall hair

I could not be any more bored with my hair.......
I keep finding inspiration from all the babes on all the pretty birds
Which if you have not yet seen, I dare you to feast your eyes.
So what shall is be?
-rooty hair with butter blond highlights
-soft red
-big waves
- middle part
-beige tones on brown

PS! How cute is this mom to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

babe of the week #4

Danish born and French New Wave darling Anna Karina!!!
What is not to love about her doe eyes and sweet round face
In my mind I imagine this is what my niece will look like when she grows up

The first film I saw with her was Une femme est une femme at the DIA many years ago. I cant imagine her being any cuter. Then when she pouts and putzs around the house in her big red cardi

Sometimes

you wake up sad, in a funk.
you walk to the mailbox
to be greeted by treasures sent from afar
from beautiful people
the sun shines on my heart now
and my peanut

sweet sweater!

wouldn't you love to slip this on in the morning? All the flare of bows and buttons but no bulk, and it looks so silky.
want want want

The Flirts - Helpless (1984)

Little tight in the hips ladies....... but you got in going on none the less

This really makes me wonder if I could start a all girl band. The kind where you sing to a back track and do really robotic choreography. COULD BE HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Babe of the week #3

Francoise Hardy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hot French folk singer and Babe of the week! What a accomplishment! This babe was courted by Mick Jagger and Bob Dylan but was not having any of their midge, STD action.
Her fashion sense has transcended time. Kim Gordon was inspired by her. BABEZZZZZZZ

The set of this show is amazing.... Like no one is allowed to use the pillows? They just have to stand there and half dance?

France Gall - Polichinelle (Mars 1967) Stéréo HQ

I believe that every girl needs to own at least one yellow dress.....
that is all

MYKA shoes

Totally a sucker for well made shoes and boy do these look sensable
MYKA owner is a art school grad turned shoe designer. check out her profile and shop if you dare! LOOOVE

Rastorbator

What a hell of a name
I have been trying to find the old site, where you just upload and go, Now I think you have to download a system,
Anyways a Rastorbator takes a image and blows it up so you can print murals super easy AND CHEAP. I want to make one for over my bed, add that to my list of projects. What to pick? The classic art dilemma , of having to look at it forever. I guess if you don't like it that much it is cheap enough to redo

I took this picture from a business's blog and then lost the link, sorry guys, rad picture though
